  Cove Resort Blythe, CA                             July 31. 2020 This trip has afforded such a wonderful variety of views and vistas.   This morning, we decided to travel the Route 66 Loop through Williams, Arizona's   Historic Downtown . This tiny town was one of last towns to be bypassed by I-40 in 1984, but they have done a fantastic job of retaining the allure.   I don't get it, but mom and dad love old buildings like this train station... After looking over what this area has to offer, it would be a wonderful area for us to return. There’s hiking, kayaking, fishing and so forth, as well as,   close proximity to the  Grand Canyon . Instead of driving there, you can ride the restored  1906 Grand Canyon Steam Engine Train  into the  Grand Canyon's South Rim , bike or hike.  If you chose to get train tickets make sure to buy them in advance, so you won't be cl...
